The Threat to Democracy Index is a project of the Peace and Justice Law Center, a nonprofit public interest law firm committed to advancing human rights and public safety. This website was established following the inauguration of President Trump when the subsequent prevailing uncertainty overwhelmed many people's ability to make informed decisions. Through this website, we aim to provide data that empowers leaders and citizens alike to make informed and strategic decisions.
